Institutional Knowledge Legitimacy

Institutional knowledge control produces its own legitimacy. The structure that decides who gets access, what counts as credible, and what gets preserved converts those distribution decisions into natural law. The control mechanism disappears inside the thing it controls. Instances: Catholic Church archives, TikTok algorithm, academic peer review, Vatican cartography, Scholia as lens on Wikidata.
