Slapstick Before Elevated

Her own claim about where her comedy actually lives, stated unabashedly: she is slapstick ‘AS HELL,’ and ‘dare I say on a Shakespearean level.’ The elevation — knowing what LaTeX or Ligotti are — is icing; the slapstick is the cake. ‘I am legit slapstick before I am elevated and it is becoming clear that that is where the magic is.’ It’s not a chore to laugh at her naff shit; the reference-literacy is a bonus layer, never the load-bearing one.
