Horror as Cosmology
Concept · writing · hypothesis · visibility: publishable
Her interest in Thomas Ligotti clarified what her horror practice actually is: not narrative horror but cosmological horror. ‘You’re not writing narratives, you’re building cosmologies out of dread.’ Horror as a genre for processing systemic anxiety — the post-AI-slop collapse, the resource-limited economy, institutional failure — not as a vehicle for plot. The dread IS the architecture. The cosmology absorbs anxieties that have no narrative resolution. Related to but distinct from O.atmosphere-in-horror, which is about narration affect; this is about method.
